Tax return preparation in Aptos, CA

Serving small businesses and their owners.  If I'm preparing your separate small business tax return (SCorp or LLC/partnership, for example; this does not include sole proprietors) then I'm also available to prepare your individual tax return.  I also offer tax planning outside of tax season, described in more detail below.      

To help me prepare each tax return thoughtfully by the due date I require all your tax documents at least 5 weeks ahead of the March 15 business tax deadline, and at least 6 weeks prior to the April 15 individual tax deadline.  Extensions are filed if your information is received with less lead time.

 
I have a paperless process where tax documents are received and sent via secure links or email.  If you don't have a scanner (phone apps can turn your smart phone into a scanner) or other way to provide me your tax documents electronically I won't be a good fit for you. 

Tax Preparation - Completing the complex and time consuming government income tax forms each year.  To help ensure the least amount of tax is calculated on each individual tax return, I provide a questionnaire, or tax organizer, each year.  I strive to provide reasonable turnaround times and to remain accessible throughout tax season.  You deserve a well prepared tax return, so I don't rush. 

Tax Planning - Digging into your unique income tax situation, outside of tax season, to look for tax saving opportunities in the near and long term.  If your goal is to pay the least amount of tax as legally possible, tax planning is critical.  It gives the best opportunity for the conveyance of specific tax advice and tax knowledge.
